CareerCatchers provides holistic support to clients. We believe to empower individuals to reach their full potential and achieve their career goals, we must motivate and guide our clients using our years of experience and knowledge, build trust, and provide a point of entry to a network of resources. We do this through a combination of personalized job search and retention support, in-house workshops and trainings, and community partnerships.
CareerCatchers offers our career coaching services to survivors of domestic violence, people experiencing housing insecurity, and other members of the community.
People Experiencing Housing Insecurity
CareerCatchers has connections with several shelters to help address the career development needs of those experiencing housing insecurity. Our team is well informed of the various barriers that housing insecurity can raise for those seeking employment. Lack of transportation, childcare, or stability greatly affect an individual's ability to obtain and maintain employment. Our team helps our clients overcome these barriers, and many others, to promote positive professional development practices and a stable career for their pathway out of poverty.
Rapid Rehousing Program
CareerCatchers is proud to assist individuals in the Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) program. We accept RRH clients by referral only.
For new case managers: Have you attended an orientation session? Learn more about what CareerCatchers can offer your clients, how to make referrals, and what to expect during the process at one of our weekly orientations, held every Wednesday at 2:30PM via Zoom. To register, click here.
Survivors of Domestic Violence
CareerCatchers career coaching for survivors of domestic violence is done by our team of experienced, trauma-informed experts.
Domestic violence is a prominent barrier to employment for our clients to overcome. According to the Institute of Women's Policy Research, up to 99% of domestic violence relationships include some form of financial abuse. Many abusers rely on financial abuse to maintain control of a relationship. As a result, many survivors of domestic violence have limited recent work experience or may not have been earning at their full potential. Our team helps survivors regain control of their career path so our clients can move towards more financial and personal freedom.
Our domestic violence program is a referral based program. Our many partners refer clients to our team for intake and coaching.
