Beginner Level Google Docs and More: Registration Deadline

**Seating limited to 10 participants

Come and join our class, where we will explore a beginner level knowledge of Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Slides. starting on Tuesday, April 20th, 11am-12pm.

  • Monday, May 3rd, 11am-12pm

Interactive learning will give you the opportunity to work on exercises while being in class. Beginner-level knowledge of Google will focus each lesson on a particular area for a total of 4 lessons. Please come with questions on areas you want to learn more about.

Tuesday, April 20th, 11am-12pm, Lesson 1:

The first day of class for beginning level knowledge of Google, we will discover the features of Gmail, Google Calendar and Google drive. As well as how the other classes will be laid out and if you have any specific area that you want to learn. 

Monday, April 26th, 11am-12pm, Lesson 2:

Our second class will only scratch the surface of Google Sheets. We will cover the difference between Sheets and Excel, create sheets, work with data, edit rows, count, sum, average, and comment/share your sheet with others. Today, you will complete an interactive lesson to engage with Google Sheets for yourself. 

Tuesday, April 27th, 11am-12pm, Lesson 3:

Let’s explore Google Slides. A great way to collaborate with colleges, students, or friends to create amazing presentations. We will use an interactive lesson to learn about changing the theme and background, bulleted list, insert pictures, and Word Art during today’s class. 

Monday, May 3rd, 11am-12pm, Lesson 4: 

In our final class, let’s dive into Google Docs. Once again, we will use an interactive lesson to discover the incredible features, including using different colors, insert table, word count, headers, numbers, shortcuts, and commenting/sharing.
